Tuesday morning

Good morning, Sara.

Two calls today. Briefings are ready.

  • Maya leads research partnerships at Acme and has been the main thread on the Q3 expansion since January. Prefers short async updates between calls and has pushed back twice on procurement timing, still unresolved.

Before the call

Thirty minutes before. What do you actually know?

You've met them before. Probably twice. The last transcript is 40 pages in a tool you don't want to open. Your CRM has their name and an empty Notes field. You dig through Gmail. You wing it.

Runlight is what would have prepared you.

A hand-drawn weekly calendar filled edge-to-edge with back-to-back meeting blocks. One morning block is highlighted in deep blue, with a small clock in the margin pointing to two minutes before it starts.
Twenty minutestwenty seconds.
II.
The briefing

One page per person. Always current.

After every call, Runlight rebuilds the briefing: a living profile synthesized from every conversation you've had with them. Open it before the next meeting. You're already caught up.

How it works

Three steps. No setup ceremony.

Two minutes from sign-in to first briefing.

  1. i.
    Connect Google Calendar

A recording bot joins every Meet, Zoom, or Teams link on your calendar. Add [no bot] to any title to skip.

  2. ii.
    We structure the call

Concise summary, clean action items, and any org-specific fields your team has defined.

  3. iii.
    The briefing rewrites itself

Every person's profile rebuilds from their meeting history. Open it before the next call.

IV.
How we're different

People first. Transcripts second.

Most meeting tools stop at the transcript. Runlight's structured summary is where the work begins.

Contact = a living briefing rebuilt every meeting

Before you sign in

Questions people ask first.

  • Yes. The bot joins as a visible participant and drops a short chat message when recording starts, so everyone on the call knows.

  • Add [no bot], [private], or [no record] to the meeting title and Runlight will skip it. You can also set a persistent skip-keyword list (e.g. standup, 1:1) from Settings.

  • Only people in your Runlight organization. Every meeting, contact, and API response is scoped to your org; there's no cross-org read path.

  • Cancel the event on your calendar before Runlight processes it and the bot won't record. Self-serve deletion of already-finalized meetings is coming to the UI soon; for now, reach out and we'll clear them.

  • Not yet. Runlight currently syncs Google Calendar only. Outlook is on the backlog.

  • Paid tiers are in planning for 2026. Beta users get notice before billing begins and keep the data they've generated.
